Finance Specialist / Accounting Team Member - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

We are looking for a/an Finance Specialist / Accounting Team Member to join our GF_Finance & Controlling, Accounting team in Spain to manage all processes concerning the accounts payables for the entity. You will be the competence center for all topics concerning accounts payables and in this role the contact person for the shared service center. Especially in questions of coding and payments is she/he giving strong support to all stakeholders.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage all accounts payable processes
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve invoice issues
- Point of contact for all questions around accounts payables
- Support external service provider handling PTP and RTR activities
- Process the weekly payment run and manual payments
- Assist in processing the month-end and year-end closing activities
- Master data maintenance
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
- Experience working with multiple areas of responsibility
- MS Office Excel good user knowledge (formulas and functions, pivot)
- SAP FI/CO user knowledge
- English; B2/C1 Advanced
