Devops Engineer - Full Time - MadridSpain

This role should be involved in helping the DevOps team to continuously improve and evolve the DevOps platform according to a roadmap and also help developers from different teams to onboard their applications to this platform.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

•    Help developers from different teams to cover the end-to-end lifecycle of their applications.
•    Help the DevOps team to continuously improve and evolve The Platform according to a Roadmap.
•    Support onboarding of applications to our Platform.
•    Test of new SaaS capabilities than can potentially be a part of the Platform.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

•    5 years of experience in a similar rol, with at least 2 years in DevOps.
•    University degree in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications.
•    Strong skills in: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Linux.
•    Familiar with, at least, one of the following cloud providers: Azure, AWS, GCE, OCI
•    Experience with continuous integration tools such as: Azure DevOps (desirable) GitLabCI, GitHub actions, Bamboo, Jenkins.
•    Source code versioning using Git and GitFlow.
•    Good communication skills.
•    Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
•    Deep understanding of DevOps philosophy and Agile methods.
•    IaC, ie: Terraform
•    At least one of the following programming languages: .NET, Python, Java.
•    Monitoring/Logging tools (Grafana/Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, Dynatrace)
•    API designing using platforms such as Gravitee, Tyk, WSO2.
•    QA skills, support different Teams to define Quality Gates.
