Consolidation Analyst (Group Accounting) - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

We are looking for a/an Consolidation Analyst (Group Accounting)  to join our  team in Spain. You will support our teams worldwide and Group Accounting with questions on consolidation and our consolidation tool (Tagetik).   

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

  • Participate in running the monthly Group Consolidation process
  • Ensure quality and integrity of financial and accounting data via sanity checks
  • Support the monthly preparation of consolidated internal reports
  • Prepare and manage certain external reports to specific stakeholders
  • Support our legal entities and other stakeholders in consolidation tool questions
  • Support and identify Tagetik changes with testings, frequently liaise with the IT Tagetik support team, and be the go-to person for Tagetik questions

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • University degree in finance with focus on accounting
  • 3-5 years of working experience in a similar function in a listed group
  • Extensive experience in practical and theoretical consolidation
  • Track record of a consolidation tool, CCH Tagetik would be an asset
  • High analytical and conceptual abilities
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills, able to relate to a variety of stakeholders from Functions and the business
  • Willingness to travel up to 10–15% of the time
