Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

•    Technical and personnel management and development of the accounts receivable and payable team with currently three employees. 
•    Responsible for the coordination, control, and reconciliation of the day-to-day operations in collaboration with the Finance Shared Service Center as well as for the continuous development and improvement of the respective processes.
•    Balance sheet account reconciliation and clean-up of aged open items.
•    Responsible that the processes and controls in the OTC and PTP areas are appropriately documented, maintained, and applied (ICS). 
•    Preparation of weekly cash forecast in cooperation with Cash Controlling.
•    Participation in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations as well as support for internal and external audits.
•    Intercompany invoicing, reconciliation, and netting.
•    Active support in various projects such as system implementations and process optimizations.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

•    Solid basic education with further training in finance and accounting.
•    First leadership experience.
•    Min. five years of professional experience in a similar function, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing Swiss registered company.
•    Experience in project accounting is desired.
•    Excellent SAP FI/CO knowledge, further modules are a plus (MM, SD, PS, VIM).
•    VAT knowledge/understanding (Swiss VAT at least, further countries are an advantage).
•    Solid MS Office user skills, especially Excel.
•    Fluent English skills in spoken and written, good German skills are a plus.
•    Enjoyment of operational activity, hands-on mentality. 
•    Empathetic and cheerful personality with a flair for numbers, who can also handle hectic situations.
•    Reliable and precise way of working as well as a customer-oriented attitude.
