We're looking for an exceptional Finance Manager to join our team in Mölndal, Gothenburg, and take charge of the finance function with both hands-on expertise and strategic vision. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership to guide and support a finance team through periods of change, ensuring effective business and project controlling.
  • Oversee local accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Sulzer accounting manuals and tax regulations.
  • Manage the statutory accounting process and ensure accuracy in financial statements, income statements, and profitability forecasting.
  • Work closely with the local management team and act as a business partner in driving financial performance, cost management, and internal controls.
  • Play a key role in the upcoming SAP implementation.
  • Maintain and improve business and financial controls while ensuring a smooth transition to new processes and structures.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to guide a team through change and ensure efficient processes are in place.
  • Proven experience in managing business control and accounting functions in a complex environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a chaotic, evolving environment and bring structure and order to the processes.
  • Stress-resilience and the ability to handle challenges and ensure the team delivers results.
  • Broad financial expertise with a focus on statutory accounting, tax, and business partnering.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial operations, including managing CAPEX, OPEX, and EBITDA, with a strong focus on budget ownership and accountability.
