With a legacy of innovation spanning more than a century, we set the standard for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading critical rotating equipment — from pumps and compressors to steam turbines and motors.
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for Lead Engineer – Reverse Engineering & Component Design (Compressors & Steam Turbines) to join our EMEA Service Division. You will spearhead our reverse engineering activities, ensuring best-in-class practices across the region, and provide deep technical support to service centres and engineering teams.

Your Main Responsibilities:
•    Lead, develop, and continuously improve Sulzer’s regional reverse engineering processes for centrifugal compressors and steam turbines.

•    Provide expert rotating equipment engineering support to Sulzer's Service and Engineering teams across EMEA.
•    Develop advanced repair and manufacturing methodologies, integrating industry best practices with innovative approaches for competitive advantage.
•    Create, review, and deliver technical reports, procedures, presentations, and training materials in your areas of expertise.

We are looking for:
•    Deep technical knowledge of centrifugal compressor and/or steam turbine components.
•    Extensive reverse engineering experience, including data capture, component design, and specification for manufacturing.
•    Strong understanding of component repair methods, techniques, limitations, and benefits.
•    A background working with turbomachinery service providers, OEMs, or related industrial sectors is preferred.
•    A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
•    A self-driven professional who lives Sulzer’s principles: Seize Opportunities, Own It, Team Up, Create Value.

What we offer you:
•    Flexibility to work from anywhere in Mainland Europe.
•    Opportunity to work alongside world-class experts on diverse and challenging projects.
•    Dynamic, international work environment with a focus on innovation and technical excellence.
•    Career development opportunities within a global organisation recognised as a Top Employer.
•    Competitive salary and benefits package.
