International IT Apprentice (BBL3 or BBL4) - Part Time 80% - Lomm, Netherlands

Join our Sulzer Turbo Services team, part of Sulzer Services, which is one of the world's most advanced independent providers of repair, overhaul, and maintenance within the turbine industry. From Venlo (Lomm) or on site, we provide our customers worldwide with solid, customer-oriented, and flexible support for their Compressors, Steam and Gas Turbines. Please join our proud and highly skilled international crew as an International IT Apprentice (BBL3 or BBL4). You will be working 4 days per week at our location in Lomm and 1 day per week you will go to school. A requirement is that you start with the BBL course "Expert IT systems and devices" or "All-round employee IT systems and devices" at the ROC in Nijmegen, Rijn IJssel in Arnhem or Curio in Breda.
In this role you will be accountable for:
- Support of end-users on different IT areas (computers, smartphones, printers, software, internet).
- Resolving IT tickets via our IT service management application (ITIL based).
- Installing computers and setting up workplaces. Periodic IT support visit of 2 other locations within the Netherlands in Breda and Maastricht.
- Communication and alignment via e-mail, MS Teams, by phone, and via the internal social media platform of Sulzer.
- Regularly alignment with international IT colleagues in different countries about networks, servers, and business applications. This communication is in English.
- Participation in international Webinars via MS Teams about IT developments within the company.
- You will operate in a small local IT-Support team which is part of an international organization.
To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Have enthusiasm and passion for new technologies, demonstrated through personal projects and interest in learning new skills.
- Have willingness to navigate ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions and support and advice where required.
- Have effective communication and organizational skills and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Be service minded, proactive, self-motivated attitude with excellent developed interpersonal skills
- Have professional proficiency in spoken and written Dutch and English.

Location:
We are based in Lomm (close to Venlo), which is a great place to live. You can choose to live with the benefits of a city like Venlo, Eindhoven or Nijmegen which are all within an hour of travel or in the quieter villages close to our facility. Venlo is known as a strategic European logistic hub, close to the German border, with the availability of a highway network into all directions and easy access to international airports of Eindhoven, Düsseldorf and Weeze. Located with a National Park (Maasduinen) in the backyard of our office you can spend your lunchtime with a healthy walk with your colleagues.
