We provide cutting-edge solutions to various industries, including oil and gas, power, water, and general industry. Due to a recent promotion, we are seeking a Trainee Expeditor (Materials) to join our team and ensure the smooth flow of materials within our operation.
 
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Materials Team by assisting Category Buyers and Expeditors to ensure timely delivery of products and services
  • Engage with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and track performance, driving continuous improvement
  • Learn to manage and update the SAP system, gaining valuable procurement and expediting experience
  • Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers to meet project milestones
  • Proactively address supplier performance issues, playing a key role in maintaining delivery schedules

 
What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Willing to complete relevant procurement training.
  • Basic knowledge of Word and Excel
  • 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths (Grade 4+); ICT qualification is a bonus
  • Full driving license
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication skills to work with suppliers and teams
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
