Elevate your career with an exciting newly created opportunity at Sulzer’s Pumps Parts Retrofits (PPR) division in Leeds, where we’re on the lookout for a driven Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SiOP) Business Coordinator. In the role of SiOP Business Coordinator, you’ll be instrumental in supporting SiOP activities, focusing on the meticulous collection and consolidation of demand and supply data. You’ll engage with key stakeholders to ensure the swift and successful execution of action plans. Your primary goal is to facilitate communication and coordination across sales, service, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, quality, warehouse, and logistics within various business units across EMEA region, driving SiOP action plans to their conclusion.

This position involves remote work, overseeing Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning throughout the EMEA region. While we are flexible regarding your location, we prefer candidates based in the UK/Europe.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Leading monthly SiOP sessions to define and follow up on action plans.
  • Collaborating with internal action owners to ensure continuous progress.
  • Tracking, monitoring, and reporting on action updates, identifying potential risks and devising contingency plans.
  • Synchronising demand and supply plans with Sales and Supply teams.
  • Working closely with the SiOP Business Analyst to address data gaps and uphold data quality governance, including scorecard management.
  • Acting as a thought leader alongside the Head of SiOP, providing insights into demand and supply aspects of the business.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning within an engineering/manufacturing environment is preferred. However, candidates with experience in coordination, planning, and organisational roles will also be considered.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a team environment.
  • Organised, goal-oriented, and have a proactive approach to communication.
  • Able demonstrate integrity, multitasking capabilities, and a readiness to assume responsibility.
  • Adaptable, with excellent task progress reporting skills.
  • A natural drive to pursue and advance actions.
