Project Engineer - 12 month Contract - Full Time - LeedsUnited Kingdom

As we continue to expand our operations, we're seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our Projects team for an initial 12-month fixed contract and drive excellence in project delivery.

 

As our Project Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our operations., You will be involved in facilitating the smooth and rapid flow of technical engineering drawings from clients and suppliers, resolving technical queries and gaining approval within no more than 3 revisions. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving technical issues and ensuring the smooth progression of projects across departments. Here's what you'll be doing:

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  
•    Provide and Coordinate technical support for drawing and document review for assigned projects
•    Participate in engineering design reviews and provide specialist support for projects
•    Attend crucial meetings to ensure clarity on project milestones and objectives

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 
•    Mechanical Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
•    Relevant experience within related industry
•    Knowledge of package related products
•    Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
•    Proven experience in project management and complex engineering activities
•    Proficiency in computer skills and technical document approval
•    Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and customers
