Sulzer is looking for a skilled and motivated Painter to join our team at the Leeds manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role within our paint department, supporting daily operations and ensuring high-quality finishes across a range of industrial components.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out painting tasks to meet production schedules and quality standards
  • Prepare surfaces and apply coatings using appropriate techniques and materials
  • Maintain paint equipment and ensure stock levels are monitored
  • Work closely with the team to meet deadlines and support continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
  • Assist with quality checks and documentation as required

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in industrial painting or coating applications
  • Good understanding of paint processes and materials
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Positive approach to health and safety in the workplace
  • NACE Level 2 certification or equivalent (preferred)
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team
