Inspector - Full Time - LeedsUnited Kingdom

Sulzer's Leeds Service Centre is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. As an Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our repair and service processes.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Dimensional inspection of components during different stages of repair and service processes, ensuring all components are within drawing tolerances
  • Visual inspection of components 
  • Support in supplying rectification instructions for re-work action.
  • Provide details regarding non-conformance
  • Perform non-destructive testing methods (NDT) 
  • Accountable for task sign off for inspection activities deemed acceptable during the inspection process and rejection if unacceptable

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Hold a formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant experience, especially in pumps or rotating equipment.
  • Proficient in using measuring equipment such as Verniers, Gauges, Micrometres etc.
  • NDT Method experience / qualifications
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and a commitment to meticulous inspections.
