Join Sulzer  as a Field Service Supervisor - Turbomachinery to support our continued growth in the UK markets and abroad, delivering best-in-class service to our customers. You will join a committed team with back office and engineering support to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations together.

This is a remote based role 


In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Lead the Field Service Technicians (Sulzer or Customers)  
  • The motivation of all Field Service Technicians to deliver a high quality of workmanship.
  • Strip, inspect, and re-build machinery following pre-established work scopes or using own judgment in a situation where no work scope could be defined i.e. emergency repairs, problem-solving, etc 
  • Work to prescribed clearances/tolerances as dictated by the manufacturer’s specifications or good engineering practice
  • A senior representative for Sulzer on the site


To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Time served mechanical technician
  • 10 years experience working on Turbomachinery in the field and within a workshop
  • Capable of reading and understanding technical drawings
  • Preferably but not essential hold a valid Offshore Survival Certificate and UKOOA Medical
  • Prepared to work offshore and overseas
  • Computer skills
  • Influencing and persuasion skills
  • Customer service skills

Location: Based at home ready to travel at short notice. However regular visits to the Leeds facility will be required to assist with planning etc.
