Come and join our story in Leeds as our new Field Service Manager. Our comprehensive workshop facility in Leeds is fully equipped to overhaul and repair all types of rotating machinery, you will lead the Field Service team for repairs, installation and commissioning whilst providing support on warranties as required. In this role you will be accountable for:

  • To lead the field service team, manage, mentor, direct, motivate, supervise, develop, and maximise team performance
  • To develop strong and maintain client relationships
  • To undertake market intelligence activities to maximise business opportunities
  • To endure that you are familiar with the risk and hazards and ensure you have implemented the correct procedures, policies, plans and mitigation strategies to ensure optimum safety at all times
  • To meet targets for operational tasks
  • To ensure full compliance with your team and projects
  • To manage the costs within your department, including forecasting
  • To proactively engage and support company initiatives around health, safety, and continuous improvement 

 
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship to HNC level or equivalent 
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH National General Certificate 
  • Experience of assembly, operation and testing of pumps and turbo equipment 
  • Experience of installation and commissioning activity within a contracting environment new line Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements including completion of risk assessments new line Management and leadership experience
  • General computer & software skills
  • Experience of job cost control
  • Excellent communicator, who can negotiate, influence, persuade, build, and maintain relationships
  • Results driven with a keen focus on the detail, finances, and business development opportunities
  • Willingness to travel

Location: One of Leeds’s biggest attractions is its location – Yorkshire! Leeds is a busy, exciting city filled with bars restaurants, it has great transportation network being close to the M62/M1 and local rail Links.
