Sulzer in Leeds are looking for a remote Field Service Engineer to join their team to support with projects based within the UK and internationally when required. This is a great opportunity for you to join projects with the best engineers, innovative technologies whilst supporting the sustainability of our future.

In this role you will be accountable for: 

  • Supporting our customers at their site or locations
  • Fault finding on a wide range of rotating machinery
  • Strip, inspect and re-build machinery following pre-established work scopes 
  • Equipment removal, installations, and commissioning activities
  • Perform alignment checks using DTIs or Laser alignment equipment
  • Work to prescribed clearances or tolerances as dictated by OEM specifications and Sulzer engineering standards.
     

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • Recognised 4-year apprenticeship or VQ level 3 mechanical qualification 
  • Experience with Rotating equipment OEM advantageous
  • Valid Offshore Survival Certificate and UKOOA medical
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills 
  • Strong relationship building and customer service skills 
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
