Document Controller - 12 Month Contract - Full Time - Leeds, United Kingdom

We are looking for a Document Controller to join our PPR (Pump Projects Retrofit) team in Leeds.

 

With our project order intake soaring and backlog already ahead of budget, we’re adding strength to the team with a 12-month fixed term contract. You’ll play a vital role in keeping critical engineering projects moving by managing the smooth flow of documentation between internal teams, customers, and suppliers – helping us maintain high performance, compliance, and on-time delivery. Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Maintain the SAP and Easy Document Management System (EDMS) with accurate and timely project documentation
  • Track and manage document submissions, returns and deadlines to ensure compliance and avoid penalties
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and customers to coordinate document flow and submissions
  • Support the project team with fast-track documentation processes and close-out activities
  • Prepare and issue document transmittals and front sheets in line with customer requirements

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience in an administrative or project coordination role
  • Proficiency in SAP and/or EDMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload independently and work flexibly across priorities
