 Project Controller - Nigeria

Purpose of the job:

 

To establish and maintain financial responsibilities relating to timely and cost-efficient completion of various projects.

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

 

Commercial

  • Develop Work in Progress file for smooth day to day field service activities and assist BDM manager with periodic updates.
  • Review Sales handover form prior to mobilisation of jobs and ensure completion of the same.
  • Provide costs summaries as required for warranty jobs etc as required by Management.
  • Drive FS Team regarding job completion and ensure all documents such as reports, timesheet and expenses have been submitted for monthly invoicing process.
  • Manage cost allocation to contracts.
  • Responsible for monthly client invoicing manpower, third-party services, and spare parts for all field service activities.
  • Review monthly OI with BDM/LE Finance Head and ensure all variations are accurately captured.
  • Review and maintain costing sheets for all projects and ensuring accurate contractual terms, rates, mark up etc.
  • Provide Contract administration support during new contract / job execution.
  • Advise the BDM / FSM on aspects of Project execution which deviate from contractual / PO requirements.
  • Prepare purchase orders and relevant cost sheets and follow DOA process for approval.
  • Responsible for implementing and overseeing the maintenance of internal export controls refer to detailed job description (ITCO)

 

Business Support / Business Improvement

  • Manage and drive weekly/monthly RFC process for pump services (PSC & PPR).
  • Collate mid-month reports to LE Finance Head
  • Drive BMD to ensure integrity of project data on ERP tool.
  • Collate information for management monthly report to include monthly updates for HSEQ, Operations, Business Development and procurement activities.
  • Compile and maintain mobilisation / utilisation schedule for all FSE’s.
  • Responsible for internal and external audit and focal point of contact for day to day supporting documentation on projects/contracts     .
  • Assist other Senior Management on ad-hoc tasks as requested.
  • Identify and implement business improvement initiatives.
  • Update Weekly sales tracker on SharePoint.

 

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in Oil & Gas in similar roles
  • Experience with working with Senior Management
