Technical Representative - Big Bay - Full Time - La Porte (TX), United States

Join our Services_AME  team within Services division in United States as Technical Representative - Big Bay to help us take Turbomachniery Repair to the next level. 

In this role you will be accountable for:

1. Responsible for all technical information and specifications for each project including:

   1. Repair specifications

   2. Inspection forms

   3. Drawings / prints

   4. Material specifications

   5. Project technical file

2. Work scopes

   1. Respond to internal requests for inspection and budgetary repair work scopes

   2. Issue inspection work scopes and estimates

   3. Review inspection results and evaluate repair solutions

   4. Write repair work scopes and submit estimates

   5. Write adders / temporary work instructions

   6. Maintain/update repair and inspection service profile templates

3. Technical support

   1. Provide engineering troubleshooting & solutions

   2. Source and purchase consumables, equipment, and parts

   3. Manage internal and external subcontracted work

   4. Develop repair specifications, drawings, forms, and processes

   5. Support project management

4. Miscellaneous

   1. Work with the department supervisor to optimize production workflow

   2. Continuous improvement of shop production, quality, and safety

   3. Work on and manage special projects

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• BS in Engineering degree and/or 4+ years experience in turbo machinery repair.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical aspects for services and repairs of turbomachinery

• Experience with turbo machinery repair and services is a plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization

• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

• Physical ability to work in a shop environment
