.Security Specialist

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

  • Assist with implementing overall security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets as directed.
  • Assist with conducting regular risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security gaps and develop mitigation plans to address them, ensuring a proactive approach to security
  • Assist with staff training and establishes operational plans for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events
  • Be visible. Patrol facility, including shop areas.
  • Enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and regularly assess their effectiveness, making necessary adjustments as required. 
  • Assist with maintenance of physical security systems, including access control, surveillance, alarm systems, and perimeter protection, to provide effective deterrence and detection capabilities.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in law enforcement
  • Knowledge of modern and traditional training methods
  • Ability to plan, manage time and multitask effectively.
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced record-keeping skills
