We are looking for a/an Quality Control Inspector Night-Shift to join our Services_AME team in United States .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Inspecting new parts with a wide range of metrology equipment (CMM AND OR FARO ARM).
- Operating quality control hardware and software programs.
- Evaluating inspection results per manufacturing/repair drawings.
- Transporting qualified parts to NDT.
- Returning rejected parts to appropriate shop members.
- Providing feedback to improve department processes.
- Support the drafting department with instructions as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Make logical decisions based on established standards.
- Have had exposure to 3D scanning or probing technologies.
- Be familiar with CAD packages, particularly AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
- Be familiar with PolyWorks Inspector and/or similar metrology software packages.
- Be familiar with GDT per ASME Y14.5M-2009.
- Have experience with precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, etc.)
- Have clear communication, both written and oral.
