We are looking for a/an Quality Control Inspector Night-Shift  to join our Services_AME  team in United States .

 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Inspecting new parts with a wide range of metrology equipment (CMM AND OR FARO ARM).
  • Operating quality control hardware and software programs.
  • Evaluating inspection results per manufacturing/repair drawings.
  • Transporting qualified parts to NDT.
  • Returning rejected parts to appropriate shop members.
  • Providing feedback to improve department processes.
  • Support the drafting department with instructions as needed.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Make logical decisions based on established standards.
  • Have had exposure to 3D scanning or probing technologies.
  • Be familiar with CAD packages, particularly AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
  • Be familiar with PolyWorks Inspector and/or similar metrology software packages.
  • Be familiar with GDT per ASME Y14.5M-2009.
  • Have experience with precision hand tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, etc.)
  • Have clear communication, both written and oral.
