Join our Services_AME team within Services division in United States as Production Engineer - Turbo Services to help us take Turbo Services to the next level. 

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Responsible for ensuring safe operating practices/procedures are established and followed
  • Work with Department Managers to develop and implement procedures and processes that streamline the planning, scheduling and execution of work through the departments.
  • Responsible for ensuring environmental procedures are established and followed
  • Responsible for ensuring quality procedures are established and followed
  • Attends daily production meetings
  • Work with Estimating personnel to develop and implement procedures and processes that streamline and increase the accuracy of job scoping
  • Work to refine the Core documentation work flow to ensure quality turbo docs are consistently distributed  to the customers
  • Interact and work with Customer(s) in both; face to face and conference calls as required
  • Create a service oriented environment where the customer feels welcomed and appreciated
  • Implement and coordinate LEAN practices with all personnel in Division
  • Special Projects: Any additional projects assigned by Department Manager
  • Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection and continual improvement.
  • Comply with the requirements of risk assessments and safety procedures.
  • Use PPE as identified in risk assessments or other related safety documents.
  • Do not undertake activities that have not been risk assessed, or where an assessment is not available or understood.
  • Report any instances of spillage, uncontrolled exposure or other related safety issues to their line manager.
  • Ensure the correct use of waste segregation facilities and the efficient use of natural resources and raw materials.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree or equivalent Production Engineer work experience  
  • 1 or more years hands-on mechanical experience
  • Experience with turbo machinery repair and services is a plus

 

SHIFT:

Working hours will be determined by workload and Department Managers. 

Typical start time is 5:00AM and a typical work week is 50 hours Monday thru Friday.  Scheduled weekend duty may occur as often as once or twice a month.
