Manufacturing Design Drafter

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Create manufacturing drawings using reverse engineering results as well as industry and company standards.
  • Gather critical information needed to design functional part
  • Develop machine CAD layouts/ assemblies.
  • Support the shop with the measurement inspections, hand measuring tools and/or portable CMM equipment.
  • Ensure the technical accuracy of drawings and written shop instructions.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem solving abilities, for creating manufacturing designs
  • 3+ yrs. of experience with mechanical drafting, creating models with complex geometry, assemblies and associated drawings needed for manufacturing.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet customer due dates.
