We are looking for a/an Machine Tool Technician  to join our Services_AME  team in United States .


 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Knowledge and understanding of manual machine tools, Lathe, grinders and CNC

  • 10+ years of experience in machine tool repair

  • Must have the required tools to perform their expected tasks

  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary. Must be able to use precision measuring instruments

  • Machinist trade experience is a plus. Electrical knowledge is a plus

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Observe Company Safety Policy and Procedures; follow and support all STS Safety Policies and ISO Procedures

  • Have the ability to trouble shoot problem and repair with machines. Disassemble and inspect machines and submit repairs to Maintenance manager

  • Complete all documentation if required. Communicate mechanical issues found during inspection to the Maintenance Supervisor

  • Work closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, Mechanical personnel, Supervisor, and Lead Man

  • Be on the job site and in your assigned work area at the scheduled time. Keep work area clean and well organized during all phases of the project

  • Have/Maintain ability to operate overhead cranes, torches, tooling and forklifts. Maintain LEAN objectives within the department

  • Maintain accurate time sheets on a daily basis. Complete company-required training programs
