We are looking for an Aeroderivative Superintendent to join our Turbo Services team in La Porte.  The Superintendent oversees the daily operations of the Aero GT Division with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. They cultivate a positive work environment, drive technical advancement, and ensure effective collaboration with customers and stakeholders. This role also involves optimizing processes, managing budgets, and leading Health and Safety initiatives to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Aero GT Division, prioritizing safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) of the division, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded by effectively managing costs, maximizing revenue streams, and implementing strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Optimize work processes to enhance efficiency and profitability, ensuring alignment with monthly budgets.
  • Collaborate with customers, Sales Department, and vendors to meet project requirements and maintain strong relationships.
  • Coordinate scheduling and project timelines, regularly updating task status and completion dates for effective project management.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 – 10 years experience in a supervisory role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in financial management, including responsibility for the Profit and Loss (P&L) of a division or department, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding budgetary targets and driving profitability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive technical advancement and innovation within a division or department.
