We are looking for a/an [[Drafting/QC Manager]] to join our [[Sulzer]] team in [[La Porte, Texas]] .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Managing quality and efficiency
- Managing accuracy of drawings, CAD models, and machining instructions
- Monitoring budgeted vs actual hours for all released services
- Managing recruitment and training to build the strongest team possible
- Creating tools to help streamline daily tasks for all areas of the department
- Managing the departments backlog by properly scheduling work to meet the demands or needs of the overall project completion target
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Reverse engineering (hand dims & scans) and ability to process the data
- Parametric modeling / free form surfaces
- Impeller modeling on single and mulit-vaned components
