We are looking for a/an [[Drafting/QC Manager]]  to join our [[Sulzer]]  team in [[La Porte, Texas]] .

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Managing quality and efficiency
  • Managing accuracy of drawings, CAD models, and machining instructions
  • Monitoring budgeted vs actual hours for all released services
  • Managing recruitment and training to build the strongest team possible
  • Creating tools to help streamline daily tasks for all areas of the department
  • Managing the departments backlog by properly scheduling work to meet the demands or needs of the overall project completion target

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Reverse engineering (hand dims & scans) and ability to process the data
  • Parametric modeling / free form surfaces
  • Impeller modeling on single and mulit-vaned components
