Your main tasks and responsibilities:

§One of the key players in the month-end closing process to deliver complete, timely and accurate financial information
§Support LE Finance Head to monitor and drive business performance in various areas, e.g. inventory, fixed assets, etc.
§Perform analysis of various financial KPIs in actual results vs. budget and/or targets, and Identify areas for cost reductions / process improvement based on the analysis
§Support LE Finance Head to enforces internal controls that adhere to corporate policies and guidelines as well as local laws
§Implement / drive initiatives together with Operations team to improve internal controls and financial results
§Support LE Finance Head to establish meaningful KPIs for the business teams and track the progress
§Promotes sharing of best practises

 

 

 

What you bring to Sulzer:

Qualifications/Education

§Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business administration

Job experience

§8+ years of experience in Finance / Accounting / Controlling, Experience in internal or external audit is preferred

Key skills

§Good understanding of machinery manufacturing industry and / or services
§Good communication skills and interpersonal skills at all levels
§Good analytical skills
§Good commercial awareness and business understanding
§Strong problem solving skills
§Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and tasks under time pressure    
§Solid knowledge of financial reporting, application of accounting principles (IFRS preferred), financial decision making and internal control
§Pro-active and self-motivated mindset
§High integrity & team player

Technical skills

§Proficient MS Office skills
§Excellent understanding of integrated ERP, preferably D365
