Join our Services_AME  team within Services division in United States as Blade Supervisor to help us take Turbo Services to the next level. 


In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Responsible for production output in the blade department.
  • Responsible for proactively monitoring working projects to ensure that time and material are being accurately charged to project.
  • Responsible for advising the division supervisor and technical representative when actual hours are exceeding budgeted hours and/or additional work is required that was not in the original quote.
  • Responsible for reviewing inspection documents for thoroughness and accuracy prior to sending to the technical representative to quote repairs.
  • Responsible for reviewing all work scopes and any customer requirements to ensure that all requirements can be met prior to beginning work.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all jobs are completed according to their work scope and reviewing each work scope step to ensure they each step was properly performed and signed off.
  • Interact heavily with technical representatives, other supervisors and management to optimize workflow, streamline planning, scheduling and expediting workload.
  • Responsible for monitoring job cost, delivery status and percentage of completion on active projects and reporting these to management on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible for assigning jobs, according to priority, to qualified personnel and resolving any blade issues to ensure quality craftmanship.
  • Responsible for the continuous improvements to quality and efficiency of all shop actives.
  • Responsible for promoting and enforcing safety and environmental policies and directing employees on safe behavior practices.
  • Responsible for completing and complying with any company required training programs.
  • Responsible for creating a safe, clean, friendly and challenging environment for self and co-workers.


To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10 years plus of hands on blade experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of turbo machinery repair.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary.
  • Must be able to properly use precision measuring instruments.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, computer skills a plus.
