Aero Project Engineer - Full Time - La Porte (TX), United States

We are looking for a/an Aero Project Engineer  to join our Services_AME  team in United States .


 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Development of repair methods, specifications, tooling, fixtures, and forms to support safe, efficient, and effective workflow for the parts and engines we service.
  • Develop, maintain, and revise drawings, inspection forms, repair specifications, forms, and design details for the Aero division.
  • Perform engineering review of planned and active projects and conduct risk assessments of our processes to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation
  • Coordinate with operations and sales teams to provide effective support for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage special projects as required. Project schedule planning and management.
  • Ensure all engineering practices comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • 5+ years of applicable engineering, project management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, Strong CAD/Modeling skills, Strong MS Office skills (Excel, MS Project, etc.), Strong customer service skills and high motivation
  • Highly effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • General knowledge of aero-derivative gas turbines and related rotating equipment
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
