We are looking for a/an Aero Project Engineer to join our Services_AME team in United States .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Development of repair methods, specifications, tooling, fixtures, and forms to support safe, efficient, and effective workflow for the parts and engines we service.
- Develop, maintain, and revise drawings, inspection forms, repair specifications, forms, and design details for the Aero division.
- Perform engineering review of planned and active projects and conduct risk assessments of our processes to identify potential issues and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation
- Coordinate with operations and sales teams to provide effective support for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage special projects as required. Project schedule planning and management.
- Ensure all engineering practices comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of applicable engineering, project management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, Strong CAD/Modeling skills, Strong MS Office skills (Excel, MS Project, etc.), Strong customer service skills and high motivation
- Highly effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects
- General knowledge of aero-derivative gas turbines and related rotating equipment
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
