Join our Sulzer Water & Industrial Indonesia team within Services Business Unit division as Area Sales Manager to help us take service operation to the next level.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

 

Responsibility to support sales and marketing activities within the industrial sector. Along with generating and converting enquiries into profitable orders.

Estimated Travel Time: 30% to 40% (national and international)

1.  To plan and undertake regular customer visits, maximising enquiry generation and driving order intake to deliver the growth plan.

2.  Prepare, submit and follow up all enquiries to customers in a timely and professionally manner.

3.  Managing key account customers directly or via distributors/agents.

4.  Ability to manage and develop distributor sales channels.

5.  Experience in food and beverage, pulp and paper and general Industry applications would be valuable.

6.  Experience in pumps, mixer, aeration and compression equipment would be an added advantage.

7.  Ability to evaluate market environment in terms of products, pricing, distribution network, and to develop new strategies and action plains in the target markets.

8.  To take responsibility for their contribution to the RFC for Order Intake for the customers/allocated territory that he/she is responsible for.

 

What you bring to Sulzer:

 

  • Fluent English spoken and written.
  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Relevant experience within related industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing direct sales and distributor sales channels.
  • Have knowledge technical background on pumps, motors, compressors and aeration equipment, combined with a strong appreciation of the process applications in industrial plants.
  • Have knowledge and usage of technical Software Support Tool
  • Negotiation skill, relationship management, relationship management skill
  • Commercial acumen, customer service skill, Influencing and persuasion skill, general computer skill
  • Ability to act independently
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Attention to detail
