Sulzer, a renowned specialist in the repair, rewind, and reclamation of electric motors, pumps, and generators, is thrilled to open the doors to an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical at our Ipswich Service Centre. Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs on AC & DC motors with precision and expertise.
  • Conduct meticulous repairs on pumps and gearboxes, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Undertake generator repairs and overhauls to meet the highest industry standards.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address client issues effectively.
  • Execute duties with meticulous attention to detail

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Possess a solid technical background in electro/mechanical engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of condition monitoring is advantageous.
  • Completion of overhead crane operating training.
  • Possession of a forklift truck licence would be beneficial.
