Repair Coordinating Manager - Full Time - Houston (TX), United States

We are looking for a Repair Coordinating Manager to join our Services_AME team in United States .
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Provides leadership, direction and development of repair engineering department personnel
- Reviews and ensures accuracy of repair engineering department's dispositions, detailed cost summaries, quotations, repair plans, work orders and repair drawings
- Supervises clean and complete hand over of repair plan to production department
- Supervises high level project management of repair projects
- Develops and monitors major project milestones to ensure on time delivery
- Continuously develops and improves repair strategy for equipment repair
- Works to ensure project costs remain within budget
- Develops inspection documentation for non-Sulzer equipment
- Maintains repair engineering department KPI's
- Assist maintenance in diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance
- Operate jib cranes and forklifts as directed by Area Superintendent
- Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards
- Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
- Provides leadership and supervision of repair engineering department personnel. This includes interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance and employee relations.
- As part of the service center management team this position serves as a backup to both the Service Manager and/or Shop Superintendent.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of six years rotation equipment industry work experience required, including and
- excellent understanding of customer-focused, service-based business
- Experience in equipment drawing and design
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational ability
- Must be detail oriented and have ability to build and lead in a team environment
- Proven ability to define problems, collect date, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Solid computer and data entry skills, with proficiency in latest MS software.
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
