Senior Mechanical Engineer, Process Plants - Full Time - Houston (TX), United States

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Providing mechanical design guidance to groups outside of Mechanical Engineering
• Technical Bid Evaluation / Tabulation of Vendor's quotation, review of vendor offers, preparing technical queries/clarification and technical recommendation
• Participation in Techno-Commercial discussion with Client for final approval of vendor
• Vendor document review and approval, vendor coordination and vendor meetings
• QC/QA document review and approval. Inspection/FAT Static Equipment
• Support cost estimation efforts
• Participate in and support global initiatives for process plants equipment

What you bring to Sulzer:

• Bachelor's or Masters' degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in skid design, detailed designs of process equipment and inspection
• Experience using Compress, PVElite, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks (Caesar II is a plus)
• Good knowledge of resistance of materials, fluids mechanics, ASME, ASTM, and AWS/ANSI
• Experience in pipe stress and rotating equipment is a plus
