Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Conducts basic process design for highly complex process applications, including computer simulations, PFD and Heat and Material Balance, P&ID
  • Prepares design/operating details for pilot plant studies for highly complex applications
  • Conducts detailed process design of highly complex key equipment (columns, selection of column 
    internals, vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.)
  • Lead/carryout FAT/SAT, Plant inspection, Commissioning & Start up, Trouble shooting from process 
    side at site, including Performance Guarantee completion for highly complex applications
  • Leads R&D in new products and processes/applications

 

What you bring to Sulzer:

  •  Bachelor of science degree in Chemical Engineering, Masters’ degree preferred
  • 10+ years similar experience, in a related field of Process Engineering with focus on mass transfer/distillation
  • Ability to interpret customer requirements and to design innovative separation processes and 
    equipment, for highly complex projects
  • Expert Level knowledge/experience of simulation software applications such as PROII, Chemcad or 
  • Aspen, heat exchanger softwares such as HTRI or HTFS
  • Analytical capability as required in collecting, reviewing, assessing and interpreting customer’s data and 
    process requirements and developing responsive design specifications and parameters
