Join our Energy  team within Flow Equipment  division in United States as Advance Procurement Specialist to help us take us to the next level. 

 

This position is accountable for effective supplier selection, management, and negotiation for the procurement of major factored goods.  This will be coordinated in conjunction with sales through the tendering and order entry process.  Ensure all assigned supplier contracts and purchase orders do not place the company under undo financial, business, or legal risks.  Provides support to Sales, Tendering and Project Management through these activities.

  • Assist the Sales and Tendering teams with projects in vendor selections and performing technical evaluations and negotiations of commercial issues, up to and including the issuance of a Letter of Intent / Letter of Award for defined factored goods.
  • Confirm contract terms for defined factored goods to company's contract risk management guidelines and ensure inclusion of required project specific terms.
  • Evaluate the supply chain to meet customer and Sulzer’s requirements for factored goods and provide feedback to internal stakeholders.  
  • Develop and maintain project data / files and databases on factored goods and suppliers.
  • Assist other departments in the resolution of factored goods issues.

 

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Report monthly to Strategic Procurement on status of sourcing activities.
  • Advise suppliers of quality and delivery performance that is compatible with Sulzer's and our customers' requirements.
  • Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.
  • Adheres to company and department policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
