NDT Technician, Level II - Full Time - EdmontonCanada

Join our Services_AME  team within the Services division in Canada as an NDT Technician, Level II to help us take Sulzer Rotating Equipment Services (Canada) Ltd., to the next level. 


In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Performing dimensional and visual inspections
  • Taking accurate measurements with micrometres
  • Non-destructive testing and examination per work order requirements
  • Maintaining tools as required to keep machines in good operating condition
  • Review of sub-contractor reports; maintain department records and procedures for current code requirements 


To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Have math and shop trigonometry skills.
  • Be versatile in all aspects of inspection techniques
  • Have computer knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Have practical knowledge of Micrometre Inspections
  • Have working knowledge of ASME, AWS and relative codes
  • Have strong people skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Be certified in accordance with CGSB Level II in MT & PT; UT is preferred
  • Have good communication skills with strong organizational ability and detail orientation
  • Have ability to read/interpret drawings and blueprints, define problems, collect data, and establish facts
