Shipping & Receiving Associate - Full-time - Easley, SC (US).

We are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our FE_WIBU team in Easley, SC. They will support the (PFK) Pay for knowledge program through job rotation, and training of all roles and responsibilities of Intra-Plant logistics department. They will also prepare orders for production, shipping, and receives materials and supplies, etc.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Unload, move/store a variety of materials, parts/products
  • Unload incoming materials, check, report shortages/damaged materials
  • Move to storage area, store, stack and arrange for possible first-in/first out use
  • Move materials between departments, following routing, delivery tickets/orders
  • Fill order from storage areas/warehouse stock and deliver to department designated
  • Operate power lift truck in moving materials, stacking loaded pallets making frequent trips to storage areas/storage buildings
  • Load materials, parts/product for shipment
  • Interface with other departments
  • Assembles order; checks against shipping or customer order.
  • Cycle counting activities.
  • Selects appropriate shipping containers and packing materials.
  • Operates standard manual and automatic equipment used in the shipping process.
  • Stacks shipments on skids as required and take shipments to shipping dock. 
  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
  • Checks receipts against purchase order for proper shipment, shortages, damages, or defects. 
  • Completes receiving reports specified in standard procedures.
  • Moves or expedites materials to proper department or storage location.
  • Operates crane, hoist, or power truck to move or store materials.
  • Assembles spare parts orders for shipment.
  • Receives materials and supplies into SAP, confirms completion of orders in SAP.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • High School education required with one year experience in related area
  • Minimum of 3 years training or work experience in material handling, including forklift operations, hoist, pallet jack and other equipment as needed.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, Cam-Line, Excel, and Word)
  • Forklift Operator Licensed.
  • Over-head crane experience.
