We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our FE_WIBU team in Easley, SC. You, as Production Supervisor, are critical to fulfilling Sulzer’s mission and you will need to ensure that our world class products are produced in a safe manner, on-time as promised and with superior quality. Sulzer products are second to none and so are our people. Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Develop high-performing team members through training and coaching.
  • Develop and document department processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that all team members follow policy and procedures.
  • Distribute labor, as needed to meet delivery requirements.
  • Work overtime alongside the team, as required.
  • Work alongside team members, as required, to meet customer delivery expectations.
  • Resolve conflicts as they arise.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the safety of all team members.
  • Ensure product quality meets customer expectations.
  • Equip the department for optimal performance (PPE, equipment, tooling, etc.)
  • Set the team’s work schedule and maintain time and attendance records.
  • Collaborate with manager on personnel matters including performance reviews, staffing and discipline decisions.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  •  Strong ability to establish relationship with others.
  •  Effectively communicate with team members at all levels to establish high levels of engagement.
  •  Independently analyze problems and execute creative solutions.
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read blueprints with both English and Metric dimensioning
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to document effectively.
