Master Scheduler/Production Controller - Full-time - Easley, SC (US).

We are looking for a Master Scheduler/Production Controller to join our FE_WIBU team in Easley, SC. They will act as the primary factory contact for sales and customer service on all matters related to new equipment and spare parts order status. They will be responsible for determining and communicating production lead times. They will be responsible for releasing, follow-up and expediting of production work orders. They will also be responsible for maintaining ERP system production routings and capacity models.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Responsible for following Sulzer's 6 safety rules.
  • Provides estimated dates of delivery for all new equipment inquiries when requested.
  • Proactively communicates with sales in matters related to pending or actual delays.
  • Creates and maintains a master production schedule for the Easley Pump Factory while considering the customer request date, the scope of the order and constraints such as manufacturing capacity, component availability and component lead times. 
  • Plans, releases, follows and expedites production orders to manufacturing based on delivery schedules, factory workload and component availability.
  • Maintains production routings such that workcenter load and production costs are properly reflected.
  • Works with SAP Team on matters related to Production needs.
  • Acts as backup to coworkers within same function.
  • Releases revised work orders when required.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP preferred.
  • Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Current APICS CPIM certification is preferred.
  • Must possess excellent time management, problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to perform standard office physical activities including but not limited to long periods of time in the seated position and long periods of time viewing computer monitors.
