National Sales Manager- Mining, Biofuels, & Food - Full Time - Easley (SC)United States

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

 

  • Develops budgets and business plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Ensure territory coverage is complete and specialized for each specific sub-segment – focused on Metals & mining, Biofuels
  • Provide input to product development by assessing market trends, regional feedback, and competitor activities
  • Provides timely feedback to the Head of Sales North America and other senior leaders regarding market performance, representative firm performance and potential opportunities or threats during the scheduled meetings.
  • Ensure complete coverage of the US with segment focused distribution and/or direct personnel
  • Plan and direct campaigns to secure sales to realize full market potential of products/customer and to establish product line acceptance;
  • Provides guidance to Sales Representatives in promoting and securing new and / or major accounts.
  • Oversees the preparation and documentation of major quotations in compliance with sales policies
  • Analyzes and prepares sales forecasts and reports
  • Works closely with other business functions in order to streamline processes and improve overall customer service
  • Partner with marketing to coordinate key national and/or regional trade shows

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related area and six years of progressive managerial responsibilities.
  • Expertise within the Metals & Mining segment preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of products, markets and services as well as competitor’s products and services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
