Join our PE_Water team within Pumps Equipment division in United States as Applications Engineer to help us take customer support to the next level. 


In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Providing submersible pump and mixer applications and project related technical support to assigned distributors and sales team members.
  • Reviewing customer requirements and assisting sales with product specifications and applications.
  • Assisting the sales team during the specification development phase of projects to communicate features and benefits of Sulzer products.
  • Preparing cost/pricing data, technical data, quotations and technical proposals in support of buy-resell and direct bid projects.
  • Assure proper hand off and technical support to project engineering/management during project execution.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • BS in Engineering, preferablly Mechanical, or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years+ experience working with pumps and systems preferably in the municipal and wastewater industries.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to work independly or as part of a team. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, Adobe or equal, and AutoCAD.
