Join our Industry  team within Flow Equipment  division in United States as Accounts Manager  Candidates for this role will need to be located in the US Midwest.

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Selling Sulzer products and services to established customers.
  • Finds and develops new customers and new areas within territory.
  • Negotiates orders, with sales management, including all technical, commercial and legal details to the mutual satisfaction of customers and the Company.
  • Calls on prospective customers and maintains contacts with customers in relation to their requirements.
  • Travels to customer locations to insure close and regular face to face contact.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Maintains sales program within territory based on customers' estimated requirements for the time period; keeps records and makes reports as approrpiate.
  • As requested, actively pursues overdue customer invoices in a highly professional manner.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in quoting, marketing or engineering of pumps.
  • Excellent written, verbal, negotiation and interpersonal skills in the English language withouth supervision or oversight.
  • Strong knowledge of pumps, applications and hydraulics.
  • Ability to accept rejection and still maintain a positive outlook.
  • Valid state DL with good driving record.
  • Strong ability to use technical knowlege and analytical skills to resolve problems and overcome objections from both internal and external forces.
  • Willingness to travel (air and vehicle) overnight on a routine basis.
