Join Sulzer Services UK at our Dyce Service Centre as our Electro-Mechanical Team Leader. 


We have a great opportunity for you to lead and support our workshop team.  If you are highly motivated, organised, and have a keen eye for detail with a background in electrical and mechanical rotating equipment you can help us take Sulzer Services UK to the next level. 


In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Deputising for Workshop Supervisor
  • Lead and support colleagues by providing job specific information and supervise completion of task to meet deadlines
  • Review job requirements regularly and co-ordinate with the Manager, Supervisor, and colleagues to ensure a high level of productivity
  • Encourage team working to improve working practices and shared learning.
  • Assist the Supervisor with ensuring that job progress updates are communicated to customers effectively 



To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Formal apprenticeship, preferably in electrical / mechanical engineering or electrical mechanical rotating equipment, with OEM or other recognised electrical / mechanical service company
  • IOSH Health and Safety for Supervisors
  • Previous experience of leading a team 
  • Previous experience in the Overhaul and repair of Ex rated equipment in accordance with IEC 60079-19:2011
  • Previous experience of dismantling, rewinding, assembling and testing of electrical / mechanical rotating equipment in utilities such as Power, Hydro and Oil and Gas industries
  • Conversant with Microsoft office including word, excel and Outlook
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Time management skills with flexibility and ability to adapt to change

Location:  Dyce is an up-and-coming vibrant town with lots to see and do. Dyce has excellent transport links to Aberdeen.
