Legal Analyst - A tiempo completo - Cuautitlán Izcalli, Mexico

Join our Pumps Equipmnet & Separations Technology team within Legal division in Mexico as In-House Counsel Transactions Lawyer to help us take  to the next level. 

 

In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Reviews customer contract and purchase order language and negotiates mutually agreeable terms and conditions for commercial contracts with customers.  Responsible for administration of the “ten golden rules” regarding contracts.
  • Conducts legal research and provides clear recommendations and training (If  aplplicable) regarding matters of law and corporate risk and compliance as needed; including researching customers and end-users to determine eligibility to receive Sulzer products.
  • Creates and maintains contract files and contracts database; as well as negotiates, maintains, and renews as needed, customer contracts, master agreements, and alliance agreements.
  • Participates in conducting risk assessment for commercial contracts and makes recommendations to minimize risk in contractual relationships.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding the licensing process, assists relevant personnel in drafting and preparing appropriate documents/licenses and permit applications to meet the Company’s business needs and submits to the required governmental agencies, as well as filing and storage of all relevant legal documents. 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor degree in law.
  • 3+ years working experience in corporate contract administration.
  • Experience in oil & gas or power industries preferred.
  • Effectiveness in interpersonal relations and effective oral communication skills (oral & written)
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy standards and regulations.
