At Sulzer, we're seeking a Tendering Team Leader within the Water and Industrial Division to lead the tendering process for all equipment and services, across aeration systems, mixers pumps and digital monitoring. We create innovative and sustainable solutions in the Energy, Industrial and Clean Water sectors and are looking for passionate individuals who can join our collaborative team. Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

  • Bid Strategy Development: Analyse tender documents, assess project scope, evaluate risks, and determine win themes to maximise the likelihood of success in tender submissions.
  • Bid Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, finance, and legal, to prepare comprehensive tender responses.
  • Technical Proposal Preparation: prepare detailed technical proposals that address customer specifications, requirements, and performance criteria
  • Commercial Proposal Development: Work closely with commercial teams to develop pricing strategies, cost estimates, and commercial terms for tender submissions

 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • Minimum 5 years within a global industrial engineering environment
  • Demonstrable experience in tendering for configured and engineered pump solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and empathetic team player with a hands-on attitude
