As a leading OEM Pump Manufacturer and a vital provider of maintenance services for diverse rotating equipment in the water industry, we are actively seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as Regional Sales Manager. We are on the lookout for motivated sales professionals with experience in water sector services or rotating equipment, capable of driving our growth, identifying untapped opportunities, and expanding existing accounts. Note: This is a home-based position, with a preference for candidates based in the Greater London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Kent / surrounding areas, considering the nature of the role.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans focusing on expanding Sulzer presence in the utilities industry.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop existing accounts to maximize business potential Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within utility companies, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Refine and adapt the strategic pricing positioning and associated value proposition for each service offering as necessary
  • Establish long-term relationships with utility clients, positioning Sulzer as a trusted partner for their rotating equipment and water industry service needs.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven track record in technical sales, demonstrating a deep understanding of the sales process.
  • Background in providing services to the Water Industry is preferred with experience with electro-mechanical/rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, mixers, blowers, turbines, compressors).
  • Motivation to grow existing accounts and explore new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel; a Full UK Drivers Licence is essential.
