SUMMARY:

Responsible for Project Scheduling and resource coordination to ensure on-time manufacturing and shipment of repairs, compliance with regulatory, Sulzer, and customer specifications. Also responsible for cost management to minimize difference between quoted and actual margins.

                          

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides customer interface for the SVC by acting as the main point of contact for the customer at the SVC for in-process repair orders, submitting documents to customers, following up on customer requests for status, participating in customer led status update conferences, and assisting with customer visits to the SVC.

  • Coordinates with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing on key activity due dates and work prioritization.

  • Develops and tracks key activity scheduling to ensure SVC delivery commitments are met and communicates updates to the SVC team.

  • Provides Nuclear Sales team with updates and requests follow up by Sales team on outstanding approvals or requests for customer action.

  • Runs production status meetings to ensure team is informed of current and potential problems. Coordinates meetings to support problem solving when needed.

  • Ensures timely and accurate publication of key measurements and reports

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

 

 

  • Provides financial forecast input regarding shipment schedule and profitability
  • Monitors order costs and alerts management of potential differences between quoted and actual margins.
  • Participates in special studies and analyses to support GM in effort to streamline processes throughout SVC
  • Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.  Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Associates degree in Business Administration, or related field, equivalent education /experience will be considered.
  2. Trained in Microsoft Project
  3. Solid interpersonal, written, verbal and negotiation skills including Microsoft Office tools.
  4. Must display leadership qualities and successfully implement strategies to support Sulzer’s vision
  5. Background in commercial activities such as operations, sales, or administration.
