Field Service Engineer - Full Time - Casalecchio di RenoItaly

 

 

Join our Water  Field Service   team within Flow Equipment  division in Italy as Field Service Engineer to help us take the Service Departmentr Area to the next level. 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Know and manage the totality of products, preparing specific technical reports

  • Analyze and solve problems related to Sulzer products (especially HST/electronics), identifying viable and feasible solutions

  • Manage technical issues and prepare technical reports for all products.

  • Provide technical support to customers, distributors and sales network.

  • Manage commissioning and start-up of all products.

  • Analysis and resolution of faults and/or malfunctions related to Sulzer products.

  • Remote assistance related to troubleshooting and resolution of faults and/or malfunctions related to Sulzer products.

  • Perform technical inspections for pumps, pumping systems, compressors aimed at doing maintenance and repair activities.

  • Perform trouble shooting (Tosibox) and troubleshooting activities on all products (compressors, pumping systems, pumps, DDS, HST).

  • Manage preliminary inspection activities to locate and identify any faults on Sulzer products.

  • Research and identify the most appropriate spare parts to troubleshoot Sulzer products, coordinating to manage the bid with the OPEX office.

  • Manage claims in SAP for both the Italian and Export markets.

  • Manage all export control activities on products where it is possibly

 

 

 

What you bring to Sulzer:

  • Work experience:   3-5 years in similar positions

  • Expertise (e.g. professional, technical):

  • Technical:  good knowledge of the main mechanical processes (e.g. turning and welding); good knowledge of assembly and assembly techniques

  • Education:   Electromechanical technical training - technical high school, Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Energy, Hydraulics will be considered a plus.

  • Certifications: n/a

  • Languages:  Fluent English knowledge will be request
