Project Manager Service - Full Time - Casalecchio di RenoItaly

 

 

Join our Water& Industrial  team within Flow Equipment  Division in Italy as Project Manager Service to help us take Our Service Department to the next level. 

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

Project Development and Direction:

  • Lead and plan the development of  water-related projects within the industry water, wastewater, and projects.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies

  • leveraging your expertise in water distribution systems, wastewater and Industry collection systems, pump/lift stations, and water/wastewater treatment facilities.

  • Conduct investigations, studies, analysis, designs, and construction administration services.

Team Leadership and Proposal Phases:

  • Lead project teams during the marketing and proposal phases. Create and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources

  • Prepare winning proposals and deliver successful presentations.

  • Develop scopes of work and budgets for various water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

  • Monitor expenses, track costs, and make adjustments as needed.

  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.

  • Assemble project teams, including technical experts, engineers, and external inspectors.

  • Delegate tasks, set clear expectations, and foster effective communication.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Supervision and Support:

  • Supervise and support the work of other team members, including mentoring junior-level technical staff.

  • Ensure financial management of project budgets and costs.

Technical Expertise:

  • Oversee the technical aspects of water infrastructure projects (e.g., water treatment facilities, distribution systems, wastewater collection Review basic designs and existing studies.

  • Collaborate with external technical inspectors to ensure compliance with industry standards  

  • Evaluate project performance and address any deviations promptly.

  • Conduct field surveys.

  • Prepare bidding plans as needed.

  • Assist with tender and contract procedures.

  • Oversee contractors’ activities and their implementation of project packages. 

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations. 

  • Conduct regular assessments to maintain project integrity

 

 

 

To succeed in this role, you will need:

 

Expertise (e.g. professional, technical): 

•    Familiarity with policies, regulations, and project scope
•    Budget preparation and cost control, with the ability to forecast budgets.
•    Knowledge of LID (Low Impact Development) and NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) requirements.

•    Understanding of water and Industry quality management practices
•    Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
•    Previous experience in water/wastewater projects preferred
•    Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel

 

Work experience: > 5 years in similar positions

A relevant degree, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Science, Construction Management, or related fields
Certifications:  Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CFM, PMI) are advantageous  

Languages:  Qualified English knowledge will be requested. Other foreign languages should be considered as a plus
