Service Engineer & Field Auditor – Permanent Contract – Full Time – Casablanca

The Service Engineer & Field Auditor is responsible for delivering on-site technical expertise, auditing customer installations, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience throughout the project lifecycle. By combining deep technical knowledge with a proactive and consultative approach, this role supports Sulzer’s commitment to reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Main tasks and responsibilities :

  1. Provide on-site technical support for commissioning, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and training in the operation and maintenance of Sulzer equipment.
  2. Audit customer installations and propose tailored solutions that optimize production, reliability, and efficiency.
  3. Translate customer needs into concrete recommendations (e.g., equipment upgrades, spare parts strategies, maintenance optimization, or process improvements).
  4. Ensure an optimal customer journey, from pre-sales to final delivery, with proactive, transparent, and passionate engagement at every stage.
  5. Proactively engage with customers, anticipate needs, and identify opportunities for value creation.
  6. Comply with Sulzer’s quality policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations on both company premises and customer sites.
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company’s processes, services, and team environment.
  8. Participate in and actively support company initiatives
  9. Initially, to adhere to Sulzer policies: Code of Business Conduct, Authority and Approval Procedures, Risk Management, Travel policies, etc…

HSE Responsibilities : 

• Ensure compliance with safety instructions, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Proactive intervention in the event of a dangerous situation.
• Propose improvements in terms of safety.

Industrial Competencies : Strong technical expertise in rotating equipment, commissioning, maintenance, and failure analysis. Ability to perform audits, analyze findings, and recommend practical, value-added solutions. Adaptability and problem-solving skills in challenging field environments.
  

Professional experience: 
- Proven experience in field service engineering, technical support, or equipment auditing, ideally in fertilizers, or rotating equipment industries.
- Local experience and local markets knowledge
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with demonstrated ability to manage relationships across different stages of the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental standards applicable to industrial sites
