Join Sulzer Australia’s dynamic Cardiff Service Centre as an Electrical Supervisor, where your leadership and technical expertise will drive excellence in electrical machine repair and team performance.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on supervisory role overseeing the inspection, repair, and overhaul of High, Medium, and Low Voltage rotating equipment. You’ll lead a skilled team, ensure safe and efficient operations, and play a key role in mentoring, scheduling, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise workshop personnel and daily operations.
  • Inspect, repair, and overhaul HV/MV/LV motors, generators, compressors, and rotating equipment.
  • Lead and mentor departmental staff, fostering a culture of safety and performance.
  • Manage job scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical License advantageous).
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical rotating equipment repair.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and high-level problem-solving abilities.
